SPIDERS

SPIDERS

Why do I have spiders?

There are several reasons you may have spiders in your home. Spiders migrate towards the home when the conditions outside are too hot, or too cold, too wet, or too dry. Spiders are also drawn to food sources such as other small pests like roaches, mosquitoes, and flies.

How do spiders get inside?

Spiders can enter your home using very little space. Openings in doors and walls, or even cracks in your home’s foundation, make for spider entryways.

Why are spiders a problem?

Generally speaking, spiders are not a huge problem but can certainly be creepy and make a mess of your property with their webs. We have two species of spiders that are medically important because their venom is poisonous. They are Black Widow spiders and aggressive house spiders, also known as hobo spiders. They should be eliminated to keep your family and pets safe.
